Re: Mixdown bug with Fabfilter Pro-Q
An Auria Project file is actually a "bundle". It's a special type of folder, and contains inside it the project file and all the audio files for your project. mixdown files are separate, and are found in Auria's main folder. In the current version of Auria, if you delete a region, the asso...

Re: Importing Audio AFF from Logic n2 Auria Problem
The best way to get Auria to load an aaf file is to do this: 1. On your PC or Mac, create a folder 2. In this folder, put the aaf file and all the audio files that go along with it. 3. Zip the entire folder. 4. Drag that zip file onto iTunes File Sharing 5. You;ll see Auria automatically start to un...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Interesting. That's a general DB error, which could mean lots of things. It's too bad it's not more specific. In any case, it's got to be size related. DB doesn't know the difference between a stereo wav file or a zip file when uploading. Is your WiFi connection solid? Can you try disabling bluetoot...

Re: ProTools AAF import problem
Interesting. If you don't mind sending me the aaf file (and all the audio files), I can open it here, and see what happened.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Oh, got it. That's a message from DropBox itself then. DropBox might have some limits on the size of a file you can send. There's also a specific message that DropBox generates if you run out of your allowed space quota.
If you have the exact message wording, we can look it up.
Thanks,
Rim

Re: Battery Life
The fact that you're using Auria with an 1818 (or any other USB interface) will not have any extra effect on battery consumption, because these interfaces require a powered hub, and also the 1818 has it's own power supply. So you'll get the same performance as if the interface wasn't connected.

Re: Crash
OK, in this particular case, did you get any memory warnings? When Auria quits, does it always go to the Apple logo? It's very difficult to get an app to quit in a way that'll show the apple logo. That's a system crash, and apps shouldn't ever do that. if this is happening more than once, my guess i...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
It should take twice as long... Are you sure it's hanging? Some DropBox uploads can take an hour to finish.

Re: Restoring Purchases
It's actually easy to skip the purchases you don't want it to download. Just press the skip button on the progress box that comes up when it tries to download that particular download. It will continue to the next one. Even if you skip a download, Auria will still enable that feature, so for example...

Re: Crash
Usually when you get the Apple logo, it means that your iPad needed to shut down for some reason. This is usually due to running out of battery power (also can be caused by overheating the iPad). Is this possible in your case?

Re: auria matrix input bug
This is a bug that's in the iO Dock itself. Alesis has identified it (channels 1&2 are swapped). If you update the firmware of your iO Dock, it should be fixed.

Tom,
Thanks for the feedback on this. I've e-mailed Fabfilter to see if they can look into this.

Re: Auria / PSP channel strip for OSX
I can't speak for PSP, but we've got our hands full with the iPad version at the moment, and there are so many great DAWs in the desktop world. I'm not sure Auria would offer anything new as a desktop daw...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
OK, thanks. I wish the DropBox system was more robust with uploads and downloads.. For example, our download system for downloading demo songs, etc will automatically resume the connection if it's lost, and drop box doesn't do this... There's not much that can be done here, unless DropBox updates th...
