Syncing you iPhone

Post by thedrumguy » Wed May 06, 2015 9:37 pm

this one is for Rim. Any chance of syncing up via blue tooth to your iPhone to have a Transport(start/stop/record) display function? I use Auria to play backing tracks live. Sure would be nice to have a larger transport display.

I've had this asked before, and I think it's a good idea. It's been on my list for a while (more crucial things to do first ;) But I've always thought this was a great idea...

This is an awesome idea. I currently use a Faderport for this purpose in live application, but a Bluetooth sync to a separate simple Auria transport app would be extremely useful. It would also be a *fairly* simple way for WaveMachine Labs to generate a little extra revenue. $5.99 sounds like a good price point, in the insanely underpriced iOS world...

I realy like this idea.
Im not sure if this would work,( maybe some one more experianced could help) but would this work.
Use an app like touchOSC or Knob Lab to create the transport controlls and link to Auria via a MIDI network session.

ANy ideas.....

Hey @BrendonP, can't confirm if it works or not. You may have more joy contacting the developers themselves.

The app hasn't been updated since February 2012, so there's that.

Mackie Control protocol is supported so it"should"work i guess. But not updated since 2012 is a very bad sign,i would avoid this app.

Although you can try it yourself and get a refund if it doesn't work.it's really easy and you'll get your money back just a couple of hours later.

Anyone have any experience with Daw Remote HD and Auria Pro? Wondering if I should try it?
