Crazy bug with convolusion reverb

Post by Shay » Sat Apr 27, 2013 3:29 am

Hi,

This is the first time I find this strange bug.

I created a new project with six active tracks.
I pasted audio from ipolysix and started to work with the plugins.
When I added a convolusion reverb to a track and pressed the solo, in order to play with its settings I startd to hear sounds comming from the iPad internal microphone. It's not continues but comes in burst.
If I stop the solo or disable the reverb insert then this problem doesn't happen.

I use a regular headphones without a mic. I use the internal mic.

I have Auria LE upgraded to full, latest version. iPad 3 16gb. iOS 6.0.1 not jb.
The project has all the default settings. No track has record enabled and I,didn't press the record button.

EDIT: after checking it happens only if the track strip is open. If I close it the problem stops and go back when reopening, as soon as I press the fx button.

Thanks,
Shay

This is a common problem with the iPad audio system (coreAudio) when the CPU is almost 100%. If you reduce your CPU load, this will most likely disappear.

Thanks Rim,

Yes, it was a memory issue.
I restarted the iPad and it stopped happening.
