Loading projects in 1.091 takes forever

Post by louparte » Sat May 04, 2013 5:32 am

This can't be right. I load a project from 1.06 or 1.07 and it hangs there. I usually shut my iPad2 64G down during loading because it is taking so long.

Eventually it loads. But this can't be normal. I never had the issue in earlier versions.

That's not something I've seen before. Would you mind sending me one of those projects? I would love to see what's going on.

Thanks,
Rim

How exactly do I do that?

I'm not clear on the instructions to send you something. I need step-by-step.

Thanks.

Sure, if you have access to a Mac or PC, just download the free program called iFunBox (it'll give you access to the file system on your iPad). Then, in iFunBox, go into Auria, find the project folder you want to send, and copy if to your computer. Once you've done this, just zip it, and send it to me via dropbox. My drop box email is rim at drumagog (dot com).

I don't have that program. It will be tomorow. And I have to figure out how to zip them.

What format? One of these is a big project. One is small. They both took forever to load.

OK, sounds good, I appreciate it. You don't have to worry about any kind of format. An Auria project is a folder, so after you copy this folder to your computer, you just need to zip it. If you have a mac, it's just a matter of right-clicking on the folder and choosing "compress" from the menu. If it's a PC, you need to download a zip program like winrar (it's also free). Then right click on the folder and choose "Compress to zip". I hope that helps.
