Hi
Can anyone please tell me how to record volume and pan movements from an external midi keyboard. I'm recording midi not audio, using the internal sounds from a Kurzweil keyboard.
Here's what I'm doing....
I record from my Kurzweil onto a midi track in Auria. Whether I use the volume/pan control on my keyboard or on the midi page in Auria, the changes are not recorded when I play back.
Thanks

Re: record volume or pan movements from external keyboard
Is the controller data not being recorded at all?
Double-tap on a region that should contain MIDI control data and, in the MIDI edit panel that appears, use the control list dropdown (it usually says 'Notes'). Any control in the list that has data recorded will be highlighted and can be selected to display the control data for editing. Do you see any control data there?

OK? So the question now is: Is the Kurzweil actually sending the control data? Do you have a MIDI monitor app that you can use to confirm what's coming in from your k/b? It might also be an idea to check your k/b's config too.PC FREE wrote:Thank you for your reply
