dm1
Every time I export separate drum parts from dm1 into Auria, everything works very smoothly, except the resulting audio I export from Auria has 20 seconds of silence tacked onto it. It doesn't matter how long I make my Auria recording, I always get 20 seconds of silence afterwards.
Re: dm1
Thank you for that... 20 seconds is just way too excessive! Easier to just move a marker out to encompass the tails and have Auria write only to that marker.Rim wrote:In a future version, I'll make this an option in the mixdown box.

Re: dm1
don't know what stems are!
Re: dm1
I checked, and the only time Auria adds 20 seconds to the mixdown is when you select the Stems option. If you weren't using the stems option, can you describe how you were mixing down when you got this extra 20 seconds?

Re: dm1
I'm serious. I don't see the words "stems" anywhere in Auria. I'm hitting "mixdown" and changing the file name, using the wav option, and sending the 16bit file to dropbox.
Re: dm1
The Stems mixdown option is actually a file type. it's in the pull-down box where you select the file type (WAV, AIF, MP3 or Stems).
It's strange that you're getting an extra 20 seconds in a mixdown without using the stems option. What version of Auria are you using? You can check the version number at the bottom of the settings page.
Have you tried using the Locator Range option instead of Entire Song? This way, you can set the start and end points for the mixdown. If you use Entire Song, Auria will find the very last region in your project and make that the end.

Re: dm1
Latest version. I've only used whole songs. I'll try the locators. I'm pretty sure this has only happened with imported dm1 parts.

Re: dm1
Well the locators worked. It took a while to stumble onto how to use them. BTW, it wasn't just dm1 files that resulted in the extra 20 seconds. Same happened with Bm2.
Re: dm1
If you're getting any extra silence at the end of a mixdown when NOT using the locators, this is because one of your regions extends further out than the rest. Auria will use the end of your last region as the end of the song when mixing down.

Re: dm1
but on many of my mixes not using locators I'm using set parts from dm1 that I haven't lengthened. Same with bm2. The tracks are x amount of blocks that i have sequenced, not live recordings.
Re: dm1
Hey guys, when I asked about 20secs of silence at the end of a mixdown Rim advised me it was to allow for any reverb tails that may sound bad if prematurely cut off, he mentioned that this feature may be editable in an future update. Could this be the issue you're having?Rim wrote:If you're getting any extra silence at the end of a mixdown when NOT using the locators, this is because one of your regions extends further out than the rest. Aaron,
I checked, and this 20 second feature has removed a few versions back. Because you can use the locators to set the length yourself, I found it unnecessary to add 20 extra seconds, so this isn't done anymore. The exception is stems.
juanconcho, are you using the latest Auria version? (you can check the version in the settings). This shouldn't be happening. If you have a project you can send me to demonstrate this, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rim
