Load one project get another

Hi there - big problem for me at the moment.

When I try to load My last mix (let's call it name-2) it keeps coming up with a much older mix with the older mixes name. No matter how many times I try - from fresh rebooted iPad or not it keeps giving me the old mix with the old mix name?

Other symptoms is that Auria frequently crashes on opening - no other apps open and freshly started iPad.

Sounds like you have a corrupted project. Does the project name have any non-english characters? There's a bug that causes strange things to happen if that's the case, and it's on my list to fix for the next update.

Have you tried to load a snapshot? Snapshots are automatically generated every ten minutes of use. It's possible there's one that works.

Thanks, rim, but no. When I had the problem I was at a recording session and all the snapshots were of that session is there a little snipped of code you can magic me to rescue that file, pretty please?

There's no code that you can add to an app, as Apple doesn't allow this. Dashes and other punctuation should not cause any problems. Are you sure you didn't rename the project, or create a new project? Maybe you're looking at the wrong project. I can't think of anything that would cause Auria to "roll back" to a previous name and settings.

Hi rim.

No, I click on the project I want (my last full mix with lots of genius!) and I get a different name appear at the top that is the same as another, earlier mix...but the content isn't the same as that earlier mix! I've tried many times with a careful finger. Also, the date against that file never changes - every other file you load gets it's date changed to today - the file I try to load never does??

Did you manually change the name of the project file or folder outside of Auria, using iFunBox or something similar?

Nope - I've only worked within Auria. I was getting a lot of crashes at the time and kept sending crash reports but gave up with those eventually. This all kicked off last Friday/Saturday. I've even tried to upload project data to Dropbox and that's never worked - don't know if it's related?

OK, if you don't mind sending me the project to my dropbox account, I'll have a look at it. Please use a program like iFunbox to copy the project folder to your computer, zip it, then send it to my dropbox account: rim at drumagog dot com.

OK, sounds good. It's actually not an iOS app, but a free program for the Mac/PC.

Sorry for not getting the file back to you ... casn seem to get ifunbox working on my mac. will upload when i succeed! Ive remixed the work but il;l upload the file incase there is a bug you need to track down.
