Perhaps it is because of the aberration of the way my mind works. But in some regards it is user friendly. My mind that is.
But the bouncing concept input matrix creates some confusion for me. I would like to see bouncing tracks be more straightforward.
2 screens. left tracks I want to bounce from. right tracks I want to bounce too.
I understand the input matrix concept but the L/R undoes the track selection
Also your current instructions need to be clearer.
Do not misunderstand me: The Auria to this point in my learning curve appears to be one awesome recording and mixing app. But I am extremely intuitive and the input matrix does not match my thought patterns very well.
Thoughts?
And why don't you have a phone number I can call?
Thanks.
Auria and bouncing tracks
Re: Auria and bouncing tracks
I'll try to help. Say you have a project with 8 tracks, and you want to bounce all 8 tracks onto a new stereo track, there are two ways to accomplish this. They both so the same thing:
Bounce Method:
1. Add a new stereo track
2. Open the input matrix
3. On your newly added track (track 9), select L/R
4. Record enable track 9
5. Rewind, then press record and play
Mixdown Method:
1. Open the Mixdown box
2. Select "Import as New Track"
3. Press OK
In the end you'll get a new track with the entire stereo mix on it.
Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Thanks,
Rim
