Re: Splitting MIDI notes?
I'm going to make a little vid for you because the way to do it is so slow and rather stupid but it's the only way to edit or split a single or multiple midi notes. Touch isn't always very good for editing unlike desktop daws. In logic one can set the timeline marker anywhere in the timeline and se...

Re: Problem Saving Project to Dropbox
When I tried to save a project to Dropbox tonight, it didn’t ever seem to finish saving, and eventually it just froze with the message “Saving Project to Dropbox” stuck on the screen. When this happened, the cancel button did not respond so I had to shut down Auria Pro. Last week when I was working...

Re: Splitting MIDI notes?
you can split any midi notes in the piano editor. This is not a region feature as fine note editing is only done in the piano editor and the region lanes are only timeline based editing. Cheers. Oh, so it is possible to split individual MIDI notes inside the piano roll editor? Without having to spl...

Re: Splitting MIDI notes?
Thanks, Rodolfo! I appreciate it. It seems that MIDI editing in Auria is in some ways more oriented towards MIDI regions/clips than towards individual MIDI notes, but since editing on an iPad is already so easy to begin with, I don’t mind much. Being able to directly stretch notes and regions with f...

Splitting MIDI notes?
Is there a way to split a MIDI note, or multiple MIDI notes, in half? I mean doing this within a MIDI region - so, without splitting the MIDI region. I figured that if I just highlighted a MIDI note and clicked ‘split,’ the note would split, but this does not work. Searching through the manual all I...

Re: iPhone version
Thanks for letting me know about that - I have a few other DAWs and a simple MIDI recorder that I can use on my iPhone, so I will just transfer things from them to Auria on my iPad. I also got concerned that maybe people thought I was a troll because I joined the forum on the same day as some idiot...

Re: Time-stretching a group of MIDI notes in MIDI editor
Thanks very much, Rodolfo. I’ll check out your videos and will no doubt ask for your help again. I should probably also join the Audiobus forum.

Re: Automatic backup to Dropbox or iCloud?
Thanks for letting me know. Please do consider it for the future, but in the meantime, being able to save easily to Dropbox is a very useful feature.

Re: Time-stretching a group of MIDI notes in MIDI editor
Do you have a blog or a site where you write about techniques and tricks that you know in Auria? I’d love to be able to learn them.

Re: No audio using KB-1 app with Auria Pro
This isn’t an Auria question but since you helped me out already, do you happen to know if there is a sustain button in KB-1, like the sustain button in Auria? I can’t find one but maybe there is one.

Re: Time-stretching a group of MIDI notes in MIDI editor
You must have many such tricks, so thank you for sharing them - I just went back to look at the Audiobus forum page where I had first learned about time-stretching MIDI regions in Auria and saw that you were the one I had learned that from too! Thanks again!

Re: No audio using KB-1 app with Auria Pro
Thanks so much - I had it set to regular MIDI mode but I hadn’t turned on background audio! I’m not new to DAWs but I am fairly new to iOS DAWs, and especially Auria, which I’ve only been using for a short period of time. Thanks again!

Automatic backup to Dropbox or iCloud?
Is there a way to automatically back up everything in Auria to Dropbox? I use Dropbox, so it is nice to have the option to save projects to Dropbox, but an automatic backup to Dropbox would be even better - and it would probably back up mixdowns, etc. too, I assume. If there is a way to do this in A...
