New Sound Devices MixPre3 and MixPre6
Has any testing been done with these? They say they are USB interfaces and class compliant, but they don't say anything about using them with an iPad.

iPad4, iOS 7, Auria (not pro) low output speakers
I can barely hear playback on my iPad speakers all of a sudden. I get normal playback from all other apps. I also get normal playback with headphones plugged in in Auria. With the sound turned all the way up, I can barely hear anything at all in Auria through the iPad speaker. Any ideas?

Tracking Session
One of my bandmates brought his Focusrite 18i20 to an available recording space on Sunday. I brought my iPad 4 running iOS 7 and Auria. I plugged it in to the CCK, it was recognized immediately. Tracked 8 tracks (acoustic guitars, bass, mando, drums, vocal) for multiple takes and vocal overdubs, etc...

Re: Steinberg UR Interfaces now for iPad
Hey Dave, thanks for the update. What's the latency like when you overdub with the UR? I've got an Apogee One for iOS now but will eventually need more channels. I remember some latency issues with the Presonus 1818vsl I had when I had to overdub with it. Hoping the UR interfaces are better in that ...

Re: iOS 7 ongoing support?
Found a way to update to 7 from 6 before Apple stopped signing the ios7 updates. A little nerve-wracking but everything seems to work after I updated all the apps. Now I have to learn how to get around in ios7, but I hope I can stay with 7 for a long time.

Re: iOS 7 ongoing support?
Still on 6 here. Should have updated to 7 but I guess it's too late now.

Steinberg UR Interfaces now for iPad
Steinberg just released a new firmware update that's supposed to make all their UR interfaces class compliant and they will all now work with the iPad (and I assume Auria). Anyone test this out yet? Any news, Rim?

Re: Recording a Live performance into my ipad (Again)
If your mixer doesn't have direct outs for each channel but has inserts for each channel, you can tap into those inserts for direct outs for each channel. One way is to plug your 1/4" cord in just half way (the first click). This will get the send from the insert and you can use that for the in...

Anything look like it will cause a problem with Auria? Still on iOS 6 here. Maybe time to jump to 7.

Made for iPad from Focusrite
Coming soon, (will be announced at NAMM) and it charges/powers the iPad while in use. Looks pretty sweet.

Re: Recomended: Apogee One iOS
I just got one (used). I did some testing last night with the built in mic. I think I'll be using this a lot, and I'll post a full report/review of it once I've used it for awhile.

Re: Recomended: Apogee One iOS
How does Auria work with Maestro? Can you overdub on an existing track with no latency? I'm interested in the Apogee One (see thread below).

Thinking about an Apogee One
Trying to get a minimalist setup for recording acoustic instruments. Anyone have this unit? Can you record with low latency? Does having Maestro open along with Auria cause any problems? Thanks.
