I'm recording voiceovers. Just noticed that after I complete the session on a single MONO track, then prepare to mixdown to MP3 256, I'm only allowed to mix to stereo, not mono. What am I missing? If I'd wanted to mix down to mono WAV, that would have presented no problem.
Thanks, Jim

Re: How to e mail Voice Overs ?
That will be much appreciated! The Auria comp/eq is superior to the other ipad software I use for voiceover...the ability to email mp3 directly from Auria (not via Dropbox) will really help.Rim wrote:1.10 will feature e-mail capability for mixdowns.

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
The ability to email directly from Auria would be very valuable to those of us who are sending mp3 audio files to clients. I realize we can send an email with a link to Dropbox, but requiring that extra step of a client who's used to just clicking on an attached audio file isn't good business. Thank...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Sorry to respond to my own entry, but including the ability to email directly from Auria would be very helpful.jasbart wrote:This has been posted before, but I'd like to back it up: the ability to email files (specifically mp3s) from inside Auria. Similar to what TwistedWave does.
Thanks, Jim

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
John: I'm also a longtime voice artist. Up until a few months ago I carried a tremendously bulky backpack with a MacBook Pro, mbox2 mini, heavy condenser mic, bunches of various cables, etc. Then two days before a trip to Paris I discovered the Apogee MiC/TwistedWave combo, and it worked quite well....

Re: DAW that supports AAf format?
As far as I know, only Pro Tools has support for AAF, not Pro Tools LE. I don't know if this is still true for the latest version of LE, but LE has traditionally not supported AAF. The last few versions of Pro Tools (starting with 7 I believe) did not require Digi Translator, as AAF support has bee...

Re: DAW that supports AAf format?
I'm no expert, but I've used Pro Tools LE on practically a daily basis since a few months after its initial release. That's what, 14-15 years? And in that time I've never had occasion to export to AAF or OCF. I'm very impressed with Auria. But one of its big selling points was the ability to import/...

Re: DAW that supports AAf format?
Purchased Auria yesterday, spent much of today digesting the manual. Love the eq! However I've come to the sad realization that in order to export AAF from Pro Tools 8.0.5 I need to purchase DigiTranslator. A cool $495. PT 9 and 10 come with Translator built in. Can anyone comment on this and hopefu...
