Re: Auria Built in Sample Rate Conversion
What exactly do you mean by analog summing? As in sending the mix through an analog mixer as well? If so, then no it's not needed really. If you have some really nice vintage valves and compressors/EQ units etc.. then yeah, but failing that no, probably won't make much of a difference. But that's my...

Re: Auria Built in Sample Rate Conversion
I knew what you meant, just that your reasoning behind why this is might confuse people if it was wrong. I think you think I am talking about something else. My reasoning isn't wrong. To be fair I wasn't very clear and did make an error on something I said but i wasn't talking about operating syste...

Re: Auria Built in Sample Rate Conversion
Brilliant, thanks. I may have mixed something up there. I will defiantly take a look. But the word length of audio does increase to 32bits when processed no matter what bit depth you started with as most DAWs run at 32bit internally. I might not be using the right technical terms here but I think yo...

Re: Auria Built in Sample Rate Conversion
Care to elaborate further? I have spoken about two parts in this so I may not have explained myself properly. Instead of just saying someone is wrong, would be nice if you explained why. I spoke about bit depth of a file & what happenes when you bounce a file and the need for dithering. And I sp...

Re: Auria Built in Sample Rate Conversion
Hi there I'm a mastering engineer so hopefully can answer your question for you (and that I have in fact actually read it right!!). It does look like you found out your own info. You defiantly want to sample rate convert before doing any dithering. Now as to the sampe rate converter in Auria, I've n...

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
I'm still on an iPad 2, so this really is promising for me. Thanks for the report, Luke. Thank you so much for posting, Luke. These results are really exciting. Running that many FF plugs is sick. :D No problem. As I'm starting to use my pad more now for some personal projects I will start using th...

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
So I don't have an extensive project yet to really push the pad but I made up a quick project just to see what happens with some of the plugins. I put 5 audio tracks in, just chucked some loops to see what happens. Sample rate at 44100. I closed all other background apps and Auria said i had about 9...

Re: IPad Air 2 Ram?
I have received my iPad air 2 today and can confirm it does have 2gb RAM. Auria has been running very nicely on it today too! Glad I didn't upgrade my iPhone to a 6plus and waited for this iPad upgrade. Can you share any info. on whether Auria runs more smoothly with the FabFilter effects, like Tim...

Re: iPhone 6 Plus support
I don't think the idea of having auria on an iPhone6 plus is a bad idea at all. As mentioned previously there are many ways to be able to get around the smaller screen size. But the move to a 5.5inch screen does make the idea of having Auria on an iPhone more of a reality. Garageband seems to work o...
