Miroslav 1 is more uniformly consistent but less "polished" on iOS. Miroslav 2 on iOS? I don't know - I decided not to get that since I already have it on the desktop.rickwaugh wrote:And how do any of these compare with Miroslav?

Re: VSCO2 orchestra samples
As a work around, I had to comment the "veltrack lpf" lines (3 lines of code I think) out of the code. After modifying the code, you can use the knob controls on Lyra to put it back in to roughly the same thing... Thanks for trying that. I was starting to think I was running around in cir...

Re: VSCO2 orchestra samples
Hmmmmm....I wonder what wrong with my setup? The trumpet sustain patch, if I play on the Lyra keyboard, played softly, until I touched the very end of the key and then it would play super loud. Had to modify the filter in the SFZ code to make it work. Can you try it, see what happens? I'm on an iPa...

Re: VSCO2 orchestra samples
Here are the problems I had with SSO. http://auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14888 http://auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14948 http://auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=14952 So SSO on your iPad, the cello staccato patch works, the percussion all patch works, and t...

Re: VSCO2 orchestra samples
There is virtual playing Orchestra at http://www.virtualplaying.com. It almost works in Lyra, but I think there's a bug in Lyra. In the SFZ code there are pan opcodes that cause only one side (L or R) to play. I tried SSO also, but the cello staccato patch did not play at all, and the brass samples...

Re: VSCO2 orchestra samples
Very quick and dirty example result. Cello pizzicato, legato and spiccato. Some Pro-EQ2, Pro-C (for narrowing on the pizzi and legato), and a touch of Pro-MB and Pro-L on the output. Auria Pro's convolution reverb on BigRichHall for the verb. Nothing fancy. Not especially well timed. Just three voic...

VSCO2 orchestra samples
Inspired by a conversation with someone earlier about Lyra samples, I downloaded the complete VSCO2 orchestra and installed it in Auria Pro. The latest is available from the github site (link below) as a complete zip file download. Very easy to install in the Sampler Instruments directory - just unz...

Re: Sending program change to Drumjam
Hey, thanks Rim for chiming in. Found a "solution" - at least, something that works better... OK. So, with some help from Patrick (Secret Base Design), Jesse (Drumjam) and Jason (iPad Musician group) :D we cracked this  Using Sidecar, I set up the CC's for Bank select (0) and the LSB ...

Re: Sending program change to Drumjam
I should add, I've been experimenting with combinations of Quantize/Optimize/Length ...
... to get more of a rectangular change, but I really need to enter specific CC values at set timeline intervals.
Thoughts?

Sending program change to Drumjam
Hi folks, I want to work with Drumjam to change the presets on the fly. Jesse told me that I could do the following: Use MIDI program change messages to switch between presets using bank select (CC0 and CC32) to choose the user preset bank before sending the PCs. Program Changes: With Bank select MS...

Re: Cannot "convince" Auria Pro to control Drum Perfect!
Also did a quick followup showing that DrumPerfect Pro can be used as a drop-in replacement for DrumPerfect. However it is only quick and I demonstrate the technique in the 1st video. So, watch both to get the benefit

Re: Cannot "convince" Auria Pro to control Drum Perfect!
Aha! Looks like it works OK if you set the output channel specifically to 10. Would expect All to work as well. Interesting that it doesn't.
