I've noticed that when I load in a device it basically mutes the other tracks, even though the sound levels are moving in response to sound. As soon as the new instrument is removed, the sound starts again. Air 2 here as well.

Maybe it's for a 'particular style' (electronic music) but elastic drums is incredible.

Subject line basically covers the whole question - include DM1 as an IAA, try to press the 'start' button there, but it then just closes itself. is this a known thing?

The fix I have in place right now is the best compromise I can find. I tried several workarounds, and this one strikes a good balance. Have desktop twin 2, a decent Bread and butter synth. There were addon packs which might be what fab filter are hinting they'd sell as iaps, maybe?
