Re: Copying and deleting Projects possible?

Drop box works well for moving stuff around between platforms, and a basic account with enough space to do that is free. You can export an AAF file as well, which can be imported into other daws. To delete projects, go into load projects. Press edit. The red delete icon will appear beside all proje...

Copying and deleting Projects possible?

Hi, Is it possible to copy or move a project onto a PC from my iPad mini?? I know I can copy my .wav recordings onto my PC using iTunes, but I would like to know if the projects could be transferred back and forth. (As I have more space on the PC than the iPad) Secondly, using the iPad only, can pro...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

Hi, I've just started with Auria, but just in case, here are my newbie observations/suggestions: Total reset. When problems occur could the usual procedure for ensuring everything is shut down and exited then Auria be streamined or automated, so that the iPad carries out a series of steps - and then...

Re: Ensuring no input from iPad mic etc

I have an 'Apogee MiC' as soon as I plug it in, it turns itself on and mutes my iPad's built-in mic. However be careful/mindful of the connections, as I recorded a passage not realising the cable on the 'MiC' had come loose. It recorded fine, and I was watching the record levels constantly. Problem...

Re: Ensuring no input from iPad mic etc

Thank you both, that's very helpful. I've checked the Matrix and no sign of Mic input..

.. but, perhaps I should have taken the green pill..... 8)

Clarification please of Auria storage on iPad Mini

I have been making some recordings in Auria resulting in each file being large at approx 2.8gb. These I guess are then automatically saved to the normal destination in the iPad, because when connecting to a computer, this is accessible by me in iTunes as <iPad> Settings > Application > File Sharing...

Ensuring no input from iPad mic etc

Hi guys I am using the simple Focusrite iTrack to be the hardware interface to my iPad Mini. A few dummy runs have worked fine. Just as a double check, do I need to think about turning off the iPad mic... and if so, is there a way to ensure that the mic of the iPad is off and does not accidentally ...

Re: Using limiter to cope with presenter's bad cough.

In the meantime, and in readiness to achieve that copying and flipping the phase later on , do I setup Auria in advance for 4 tracks, even though I am just recording onto two tracks at the time of the recording? No need to have the 4 tracks, but also no issue if you do, you can add them (Later) :) ...

Re: Using limiter to cope with presenter's bad cough.

I had to do this a long time ago on Soundforge. ...... maybe copy the cough to an adjacent track and flip the phase. Won't be perfect but will reduce the perceived volume of the noise. Instead of deleting the cough you could automate the volume to dip at those points. Thanks Martygras I hadn't thou...

Re: Using limiter to cope with presenter's bad cough.

More good suggestions above! ^ You could also try and get word to the speaker/s, about the issue ,and get them to be aware of it. Don't know what the situation is but I would do that. (If possible) :-) Hmmm... maybe... he looks 8 foot 6 and made of steel with a scar running down the face... ..no ju...

Re: Using limiter to cope with presenter's bad cough.

Hey @OldBoy, Everyone does their thing a little ways different. If I were recording something so dynamic, I would set the highest peaks to just below red. In this digital age you can get away with a lot of things, eg turning up without getting a lot of floor noise. I would leave the (heavy) comp an...

Using limiter to cope with presenter's bad cough.

Hi, Excuse me if this has been asked before (I did search... :-) ) but I have an urgent recording to make in a few days and I haven't finished reading the users guide. I would really value some 1,2,3 help here guys getting some basic setting using Auria's limiter options - and maybe compression too....
