Re: Mixdown CUT problem
i also have this problem during playback, where a track has a long reverb tail(or psp echo long decay) effect on it - and about a second after a region ends, the reverb or echo's tail just cuts right off, rather harshly. a work around i found is to put a long, silent .wav file at the end of the regi...

Re: Unused files cleanup
hey there, i also notice the cleanup doesn't occur when you import an audio file(or audiopaste) into a track and then remove it via undo(you probably already know this)

Re: Normalized region caused corrupt project
also, one last detail i remembered - the stereo track that oddly recorded mono, was initially a mono track that had some mono regions(and maybe fx) on it at one point. i deleted all the mono regions on that a while ago and dropped stereo regions onto it at some point (thus turning it into a stereo t...

Re: Popping/hiss noises in Auria recordings?
i know one of my audio interfaces causes popping but its only when my ipad's battery is between 100% & 90%. to remedy this i turn the ipads screen brightness all the way up and the pops go away completely.
btw, curios if you have a link to the hiss/popping sound you are talking about?

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?
i've also read the zoom h4($269) works 100% mobile but haven't tested this device myself... I've tested the H4 (old grey model) and it works OK as long as you use a USB hub (non powered it's enough). but let's face it: it is like a toy compared to Sound Devices stuff :) most definitely it's in a wh...

Re: Normalized region caused corrupt project
rim, thanks for looking into this. it's odd for me too as i've used the normalize 100+ times already myself and with no issues remotely like this. the file in question is called "Audio 05-3.wav" - it's 44khz(the project's native rate) and 24bit(stereo), as it was recorded directly into the...

Normalized region caused corrupt project
so i ran into kind of a big nasty issue while working on a song tonight that is causing a serious problem with my project. here's exactly the steps i went through to make this happen: i selected a region on track 1, chose process->normalize. tapped the scan button first, then chose the following set...

Re: Unused files cleanup
hi rim, thanks for the reply; i really appreciate your team's willingness to work with the users to make this app even more amazing! so i swear after i undo recordings, they just dont go away from the project's folder ever(unless i go in there and manually delete them from another project). to doubl...

Re: Drum Machine/Apps that work with Auria?
for me and my ipad2, beatmaker 2 has worked great - it also seems to run well for me playing in the foreground(while auria is playing several tracks, looped, in the background). of course it can take up a bit of memory+cpu so this could pose problems for auria depending on what effects auria's using...

well if they make a desktop vst with echo(a fabulous plugin btw), why wouldn't they make one out of the channel strip?

Re: Considering a self-powered audio interface?
excellent - thanks for posting. this looks amazing. maybe i can upgrade to this once i win the lottery($749 is a pretty penny) ;) can you tell me how long the battery life lasts on this(i assume you use nimh batteries)? i assume the 48v phantom power is a no-go when this is running off the 2 AA's? i...

1b) Also, if set punch in/out points and do record in Loop mode... you just select the best one via plus sign which appears on bottom right side of that ++1 this: multi-take recording within a locator-looped playback area is super useful for obtaining that perfect take (which often takes many tries...
