Re: New Auria Video You Really Need To Know This
Very cool Anthony. Coming from the analog world, it took me years to give up recording hot, and a few more to realize that a simple twist of the volume knob (or better yet the limiter gain as displayed) was my friend in getting levels up to where I needed them for tracking and monitoring. And I seco...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
To be able to choose the colour of the piano-roll. Agreed, things can get a bit fugly and difficult to look at. An option to just have solid colors not based on volume would be a nice option as well. I'd like to reiterate two requests that user Tovokas mentioned back in 2014: * Duplicate track * Th...

Re: Best Drum App for IOS
The fastest way to incorporate Loop Loft loops into Auria is to use iFunbox to copy the WAV or AIFF loops onto your iPad in the Auria sandbox. Alternately, you can copy them into AudioShare inbox so you can use the pasteboard to copy them into other DAWs as well. You can also put your loops onto Dro...

My iPad Pro isn't experiencing this problem. I just upgraded to 10.3, but I didn't notice it happening in 10.2 either.

I bit, and everything appears to be working fine in 10.3 on my iPad Pro 12.9.

Sometimes I wish I had a second iPad just to use as a test machine. Regardless, I can feel the pressure building... who will be first to break down and take a leap into the unknown?

Re: New user i have some questions
Are you setting a region to punch into? Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, here are the steps I take to punch in: 1) Turn on auto-punch 2) Tap and drag on the timeline on the track screen to set the region you want to punch into 3) Enable recording on the track 4) Tap record 5) Tap p...

Re: Anyone use/like the Lurssen Mastering Console?
Apparently, after many months, they still haven't fixed the bug where the app doesn't save session info. I would have thought they would have been a touch more responsive with a $100 app, but the thing still has pop-up ads for goodness sakes. :) On the other hand, I've seen reports from users who re...

Re: New Auria owner struggling with bitrate decision & IAA
I've always felt that 24/44.1 makes life easier in a dozen ways... the benefits certainly outweighing the (non-existent to my poor ears) sonic benefits of 48. If my workflow required staying in 48 I would, but that's never been my case. And as you've learned, doing a conversion dance in iOS is a par...

Re: Fabfilter Pro Q2
Agreed, it's hands down one of the best EQs available on any platform. And it's fairly easy on the CPU: when you get that Pro you can throw it on every track. In one test I had it running on 40 individual tracks on my Pro 12.7 without breaking even a mild sweat.

Welcome! For moving large number of files to start a session, iFunbox is essential: It's a free app that allows you to connect to your iPad from your desktop through the lightning cable (directly into the Auria file sandbox), and then create folders, copy files, etc. It's a huge headache/time saver ...

Lovely studio Anthony, and I've never considered using an older iPad just for analysis. Great idea.

Welcome! You can flip a track's polarity using the phase button in the Channel Strip. (FX->Channel Strip tab... it's the button just under the 'SAT' button near the fader). However, since inverting phase is only useful in fixing the problems associated with some other track causing phasing issues wi...

#1 wish: Greater stability. The frequency of crashes, bugs, etc. is just too high to safely commit to professional work on the platform. I agree that stability is absolutely critical in creative work: nothing kills the spark like technical problems, and you can't really take such risks with clients...

I agree with others to avoid going to the Fabfilter site and watching the product videos... that's how they get you.
It really is one of the more innovative reverbs in the world... for 1/5th the desktop price. Argh, I feel the purse strings loosening!
