Re: Ableton Link

Have you tried it with iMaschine? I just downloaded it but if you have any tips I'm all ears!

Re: Auria mixer and MIDI mapping

A buddy of mine just gave me a nanoKONTROL2 that he wasn't using and I think it works great with Auria. The throw on the faders is really nice and feels very natural. The Pan pots are a bit odd - anyone know if the sensitivity of this can be addressed with the desktop programmer? Anyway, I ordered a...

Re: Ableton Link

Just adding my +1 for this. Native Instruments just updated iMaschine to work with Link and now I'm dying to use this with Auria.

Now, if NI would only add MIDI support it would solve SO many of my problems....

Re: Bounce Track in Place still loads synth

@richardyot - thanks for the tip. I've been hard rebooting the iPad as a regular thing (unfortunately) but the soft reboot is a much preferred option. I'm one of those people that's militant about closing any unused background apps, so having ghosted apps in the background really triggers my OCD ;) ...

Re: Bounce Track in Place still loads synth

Ok - as long as I can retain the bounced audio, I have no problem moving it to another track. Luckily I'm not so far into this that I will lose anything by doing so. I'd love to hear any other thoughts as well. Love Auria guys - every update just makes it better and better! [edit] I had bounced 4 tr...

Re: Bounce Track in Place still loads synth

Just pinging this again. I fired up a track today and even while it was paused I could hear iSEM burbling away in the background.

Rim - is there a way to disconnect the plugin?

Bounce Track in Place still loads synth

I just started using the "Bounce Track in Place" to convert some of my sequences tracks to audio, but I've been noticing that when I boot up Auria the next time, it still loads the synth I was using (in this case, iSEM). I know because about 50% of the time it errors out and can't load the synth. Is...

Re: Midi Studio Pro to control Lyra/Auria

Yep - it was the background audio turned off that was killing me. I thought of it about 10 minutes before I logged on here to check responses.

Thanks for the help - that really saved the day!

Midi Studio Pro to control Lyra/Auria

Anyone using the MIDI Studio Pro app as a controller for Auria? I'm trying to set it up to trigger some drum samples in Lyra but it doesn't seem to be connecting. I've done the obvious stuff (set the MIDI channel, turned off the MIDI interfaces I'm not using, etc." but still no dice.

Help!

:D

Re: Auria running very slow on iPad Air 2

That might be it - it seems like the more midi tracks I add, regardless of whether I have them triggering a plugin or not, the less responsive things are. I'm a fan of keeping the midi track even after I've bounced it to audio, so things get cluttered in a hurry. It's the worst on the piano roll and...

Re: Auria running very slow on iPad Air 2

Thanks for the suggestions - I haven't rebooted in a bit so I'll try that.

Any other suggestions? An Air 2 is a new enough iPad that I would think it would run it pretty well. Is it because I have only about 1GB of free space out of my 16GB? Not ideal, but it's what I could afford....

Auria running very slow on iPad Air 2

Auria's been lagging on me badly for awhile now. I'm running Auria Pro on an iPad Air 2 and the lag is killing me. Anytime I tap on something I have to wait a couple seconds to see if it worked. Any command takes time to complete. I tap on things in the piano roll and don't know if it worked... the ...

Re: Drum machine sampler

I second this. I am currently learning how to use Lyra for drums, but dealing with SFZ files is new to me and a 16-pad drum machine would be much simpler. I compose my tracks in iMaschine and I love that interface. Native Instruments unfortunately does not like to make their products play well with ...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"

Hi RIM, Been lurking here for awhile and there's been a wealth of good info. Still wrapping my head around the workflow, but so far so good. I've been having issues with Auria crashing when I use "Undo" repeatedly. I'd love to see a link to the history so we can jump directly back to a previous stat...

Re: What external storage device are YOU using?

Pretty sure he was joking - iFruit is the brand from Grand Theft Auto. He was referring to the iPad Pro.

Don't worry - I made the same mistake when I first read his post :D
