Re: Final touch or audio mastering app?
I’m sure there are YouTube videos that talk about using fabfilter plugins for mastering. Though not necessarily specific to mastering, I’ve found the official fabfilter videos useful. Maybe someone else has specific video links they could offer. Using something like final touch could be a great way ...

Re: New update crashes
Everything is working fine on my setup. iPad Pro 10.5 inch 256gb iOS 11.2.6. No problems loading and playing projects and using fabfilters. I also have not purchased the L2 upgrade yet.

Re: Final touch or audio mastering app?
I’ve used Final Touch and had good results. It is inexpensive, fairly easy to get descent results, and has lots of presets to try out. However, ever since I started using Fabfilter plugins with Auria, I haven’t used Final Touch for anything but a file converter.

Re: Drum machine?
I’ve used Drum Perfect Pro with good results. However, Drum Perfect Pro is very in depth and can be very time consuming. It’s not for everyone, but it gives you control of just about everything for the Drum sound. I’ve also used Drum Session which is much simpler, but in my opinion can also sound ni...

Re: First time user
Yes, that would be a great place to start. I believe there are a couple demo projects that come with Auria. You can just load up the demo project (one is called Heartbeats), save as a template, delete the unwanted tracks, then resave the template. Or you could load the demo project, delete the unwan...

Re: First time user
Welcome! This is how I would go about this assuming I understand what you are trying to do correctly. I’m not aware of a place to download a template/ project setup exactly like this, but maybe someone else does. You would only have to setup the template once. Choose a new project with the required ...

Re: MIDI merge
I’m curious about this also. The join function only appears to join midi sections on the same track. The track on top overwrites the underlaying midi. However I’m trying to merge two separate tracks combining the input data on both tracks instead of writing one over the other. Maybe I’m missing some...

Re: Adding sustain to a recorded midi track via AP’s Keyboard?
Just updated to 2.14. I can now zoom in on sustain parameters, but I can no longer join tracks and keep both the notes and sustain from each track. It’s now one or the other. However, I found another simple workaround. After recording just sustain on a separate midi track, enter the midi edit mode a...

Re: Adding sustain to a recorded midi track via AP’s Keyboard?
That’s ok. I did some testing and I was able to do the same thing with my keyboard’s foot controller that I did with with Auria’s keyboard, but only using midi overdub. Still had the same issue of zooming in on sustain parameters to edit though.

Re: Adding sustain to a recorded midi track via AP’s Keyboard?
I remember having this trouble where the sustain pedal curve would have a break in the middle some how...might be joining regions causes this? I would just delete all the sustain pedal curve data, and then re-record it. To do this, I would setup an automation record on the piano track, play back th...

Re: Adding sustain to a recorded midi track via AP’s Keyboard?
I think this may be a bug also. Unfortunately my workaround requires the tracks be joined to work the way I want it to. It appears you are correct though, the sustain is on off at %50. I didn’t know this. That makes drawing in sustain more useable for me for now. I’ll give it a shot.

Re: Importing audio files from the inbox folder
@Tom, yep I understand and sorry the thread got sidetracked a bit talking about the Files app. As I mentioned, it's on my list to look into for the next update. Looks like most users don't have this issue, but it may be a rare iOS11 related issue. I'll see if I can get it duplicated here. Rim That’...

Re: Adding sustain to a recorded midi track via AP’s Keyboard?
Thanks for the reply. I can work in the midi editor and draw in sustain, but I can do a much better job and faster by recording sustain in real time, then make some adjustments in the editor. I like the on off a sustain pedal draws in the editor like the first half of your example. I haven’t found a...
