I haven't used Amplitude 4.0. I have used a few of the other Amplitudes. I much much much prefer Bias FX, and JamUp for that matter.

I really like Tonestack for the FX, but as far as using it for Rock or metal, it is lacking for me personally in the authentic sound department.

This is likely caused by overdriving the output of THM Overloud. Try lowering the master output of the amplifier as this will lower the output of the plugin but wont affect your tone. So...... I haven't used THM Overloud in a while. Used it to lay a scratch track last night. But, the signal was hot. I set fader levels to -16 I think. The little light that bounces to the sound, to the immediate right of the faders was clipping like crazy. Do I need to long hold on the record butto...

There is a lot of chatter on the Audiobus Forum about the Synthmaster CPU usage, even just with the synth alone. It's my favorite synth as well. Recent couple of updates seem to have raised the CPU usage quite a bit. Not sure if they are looking into it ATM.

@rickwaugh, kudo's on making it through the new manual. I've gotten through several pages, but still need to keep pushing through. Sooo much good stuff in it. ON a side note, somewhat related to Fab filter. I am still a bit in shock at getting pro-q2 and pro-c2 both for $30.00 with the upgrade price...

I've noticed on Pro-q2 and Pro-C2, that the little arrow in the corner allows one to have the window size small medium and large, there is an extra large but it is grayed out. So, when an app is in Beta, I would guess it would be easier to send bugs/problems back to the developer, and for them to fix them? Because Apple/app store is not in the mix/way.

I really like the way the punch in works now. I can get what I want accomplished. Punching in on the fly, sure I'd try it if it was implemented. Not sure what it is exactly, other than you don't set locators, and just "do it"? Cool.....
