Re: Getting Molton drums to work with Auria

I don't think we currently have Molten Drums to try it with, but the basic settings are essentially always the same: Enable Send MIDI Clock from Auria to Molten Drums(w/ Start/Stop and Song Position Pointer enabled) Leave all of Auria's other MIDI ports disabled Enable Auria's MIDI port inside Molte...

Re: How do i do this? EQing compressor input only

If you have the Pro-C compressor, which includes a sidechain input, you could do this currently by duplicating the track in question. Here's an example: 1. Duplicate the track 2. Insert Pro C on track 1 (the original track) 3. Assign track 1's sidechain input to track 2 (the duplicate) 4. Enable ext...

Re: Getting Molton drums to work with Auria

Then in that case a normal Audiobus setup should probably work, probably nothing in the MIDI prefs need to be setup. Just open Audiobus, put Molten Drums in the Input (left-hand) slot and Auria in the Output (right-hand) slot. Auria should automatically create a new track and route it from Audiobus.

Re: Getting Molton drums to work with Auria

I had a quick look at Molten Drums' manual, and it doesn't mention supporting Audiobus, so I don't think it will work that way. It does say it supports Audio Copy/Paste, so you can use that method to paste your finished patterns into Auria.

Re: Compatable Sequencers

Auria will only work as the Master clock with a sequencer like Genome, so you want to make sure you only have MIDI Clock (plus MIDI SPP and Start/Stop) being sent from Auria to Genome directly, and not through network MIDI. I don't recall if Genome supports MMC or not, but either way it shouldn't af...

Re: How to conect Auria to Korg Pa3x using camera conect ada

To record your keyboard's audio into Auria you will need to use some kind of audio interface, the keyboard's USB port is only for transmitting MIDI back and forth. It sounds like you connected them correctly, i.e. plug the powered hub into the CCK and the interface into the hub. f you tried the Rola...

Thanks for the info, we're taking a look at your to see if there's a bug there. Have you noticed this happening with Aux effects other than ClassicVerb Pro?

Re: Grouping

Yes, you can group faders together from the Mix window: tap the Group button at the top of the Mix window (it looks like two faders with a plus sign in-between), and then tap each fader your want part of that group. A number "1" will appear on every fader your add to the group, and then ju...

Re: FR- dither for mastering

In the meantime, FabFilter's Pro-L has 16/20/24 bit dither plus noise shaping, so any mastering chain using this optional plugin has dithering possibilities already.

Re: Transfering projects with Reaper

For DAW's like Reaper that don't support AAF the only way to move projects is via bounced audio files, i.e. exporting individual audio tracks (or stems) from one DAW to the other. We don't have a copy of AATranslator to try out, so I can't say it's AAF support works with Auria, but Auria does use a ...

Re: Export "how to" question

You have two different ways to transfer the project over to a video editor, and it will depend on what system they're using which ones are compatible. AAF is made for this, as it will transfer all of your tracks, including edits and volume automation, into another program. It won't copy effects (EQ,...

Re: Low resolution output ??

That 1058 kbps number is the streaming rate for your files, and is calculated like this:

Sample Rate X Bit Depth / 1000 = kbps

And in this case, 44100 times 24 divided by 1000 = 1058 kbps, so what you're seeing is normal.

Re: Latency issues in new update!!!???

Do you mean the recording you made earlier, while you were experiencing the extra latency? Sounds like your iPad's audio system crashed before. It makes sense that any recording you did while it was messed up would have recorded out of time - not much to do other than slide the recording earlier to ...
