Re: Audio unit
Awesome news. Any alternative to IAA's limitations and general quirkiness is more than welcome!

Re: Synth Master Player IAP crashing in Auria Pro
SynthMaster is no longer crashing on my iPad Air in Auria, which is great! It doesn't, however, respond to midi in the instrument slot (An SM issue that I'm sure Auria has no control over: it doesn't work in any of my other hosts either...) I'm sure the old pros know these tips, but if you're trying...

Re: More newbie basic questions
That is good advice: If something very strange and unnatural seems to be happening in your music app, always restart first to see if it resolves the issue. I've gone through some extended uninstall/reinstall dances that would have been fixed with a simple reboot. (This is especially true with some I...

Re: The "Auria Wishlist Thread"
Auria Pro is fantastic, thanks for providing such an excellent tool! Things I'd love to see: * In addition to 'bounce in place', a second option that bounces the rendered audio to a new track and mutes the original * Duplicate track (please, please) * The ability to reorder effects in the channel st...

Re: Fab filter user interfaces
I agree being able to enter a 'fine tune mode' for any control in Auria (not just Fabfilters) would be very useful. As suggested, enabling such a mode with a two finger tap method like when time stretching a clip, or by simply long-pressing the control, would go a long way in addressing the only thi...

Re: Post a review at the app store
Done! The new version elevates mobile recording to a place where I can seriously contemplate completing the shift from PC to iPad. I look forward to seeing Auria evolve for years to come. (And I'm happy to chip in my $40 to help make this happen. The app is worth twice that.)

Re: IAA Problen
Raising this thread from the dead. ;) I upgraded to iOS8, and while testing I experienced the same problem mentioned above: while attempting to record in IAA, regardless of instrument, I encountered the whine-like feedback sound. The recorded data was fine, free of the offending sound. Starting a ne...

Re: So long, Alchemy. We barely knew ya.
Alchemy Mobile is just about my favorite iOS synth, and I have all the expansions. I think the KVR thread discussing Camel Audio's sudden announcement is setting records, so I would encourage those wishing to bathe in crazed speculation about what's going on to seek it out. ;) As for the bigger ques...

Re: In praise of the Channel Strip
I agree it's very liberating to not have to worry about CPU, and the channel strip is excellent! But I find I can throw Pro-Q on everything without much of a hit, and I can't live without its precision and ability to "solo sweep" to find offensive frequencies. Pro-L is much hungrier, but I...

Re: 2014 App of The Year **Auria**
I'm getting close to making the complete switch to my iPad for music making, and Auria and the FabFilters make that possible. Health issues make it difficult for me to spend long hours at the desktop with a mouse, so I'm thrilled that programs like Auria and Audiobus are maturing so quickly! (Would ...

Re: Recording over existing track
Yes, some type of take management system would be a huge plus. I've grown to love Auria for slicing, dicing, and leveling tracks, but recording/winnowing/editing a composite take track is cumbersome.

Re: Psp micro warmer vs fabfilter pro L
I'm a huge fan of MicroWarmer, and I just picked up Pro-L during the sale: super impressed. Amazingly clean and clear! I'd suggest getting both, but my first impression is that Pro-L is better than any limiter I've ever used on my desktop. (This sale is killing me: had Pro-Q and Volcano, and have no...

Re: New to Auria need advice
There are many nice synths: Nave, Alchemy, Mitosynth, Animoog, Magellan, Sunrizer, Thor... It all depends on your style of music, and whether you like to get your hands dirty creating your own patches, or just like making minor alterations to presets. If you're like me you'll end up owning almost al...
