Exactly. It was the 3rdparty plug ins that caught my attention the most when researching iPad DAW options.

I always hit the wrong one too, so the single toggle mode is a great idea for me. I haven't purchased any yet, but first on my list for next week is the Pro-L limiter. The built in PSP brickwall limiter is ok, but the Pro-L is my go to on the laptop and I know it inside and out. I'd find it much more versatile for iPad "mastering" duties.

Agreed, editing automation takes forever if you recorded a lot of control points and need to delete them or move them one by one.

As cool as I think Audiobus is, and how it's really changed the way I look at iOS music making, I definitely have issues with it not being very stable. Some apps are worse than other hosted in Audiobus, but in general I find I have to close it and restart it a little more often than I'd like for som...

So on that topic. Let's say I copy and paste a 4 bar loop for 64 bars. If I then perform the Consolidate Regions option, does that make new audio versions out of all the copies, or does it know they all reference the same audio file so leaves it as is? I couldn't quite understand that in the manual.

Copy and pasting clips creates new audio files, but you can zoom the edit screen until you see a right pointing arrow on a clip. Dragging this creates continuos references to the same audio file.

I never even use the input matrix. Normally launching Auria in Audiobus automatically creates a stereo track with the name of the synth app I'm using.
