Hello,
AudioBus is a third-party app/API that should allow for things like this, it is not something built into iOS 6. iOS 6 does look like it will allow for multiple outs, but AudioBus is what we are hoping will allow inter-app audio.

Chris

Re: Will Auria allow playing Audio from another App like DJA
Hello,
Streaming audio from other apps is something that looks to be on the horizon, but is not available yet. This is potentially something that could be accomplished using AudioBus, and we will certainly be investigating how it may work with Auria.

Chris

Hello, With the Scarlet 18i6 and the Behringer Ultragain, you will still only have 10 pre amps--there would be 6 more line inputs on the Scarlet, but you would need to be sending line-level signals. With the PresSonus 1818VSL and the Behringer Ultragain, you would have 16 pre amps ready to go. The T...

Re: Auria with the Presonus 22VSL
Hello, Currently, you still need a powered USB hub, though supposedly PreSonus has a firmware update coming that will address that .Theoretically, devices that have power supplies should not need a hub, and that a firmware update can and will fix this. Unfortunately, we do not have any idea of a tim...

Hello,
Since the 22VSL is bus-powered, you would almost certainly need a powered USB hub to power it. The iPad cannot provide enough power to the interface itself.

Hello,
The update has been submitted to Apple and we're waiting for it to be approved--it's really out of our hands at this point. Sorry for any inconvenience--we'll just need to be patient together!
Best,
Chris

Hello,
For those interested in the sizes of theses samples: all of the available free cymbals total just over 1GB. The Percussion eXtras package is just under 600mb.

Re: Split Stereo Tracks into two single mono tracks?
Hello,
While there isn't a built-in command for this, you could do two mono mixdowns of the stereo track, one with it panned hard left and the other panned hard right. Selecting the 'Import as New Track' option will add these two mono tracks back into your project.

Chris

Hello, We have not tested this interface, so we cannot comment on its compatibility. I would suggest posting in or reading the Interface Working/Not Working forum, which is where someone reported that it was working. It looks like most websites list it as 4x4, so I assume it is possible to record fo...

Hello,
This is not one we've tested, so we cannot comment on its compatibility. You might try posting it in the Interface Working/Not Working thread to see if any other users have had success with it.

Re: Portable recording kit
Hello, Yes, this looks like a great set-up. Input levels can be watching the meters in the Input Matrix while adjust thing physical controls on the 44VSL. You'll want to watch the clipping indicator lights on the unit itself to make sure you aren't clipping, but a more detailed level can be viewed i...

Re: Drum recording setup - Will this work ok?!
Hello,
Yes this is a totally feasible set up--however, the Griffin iMic is fairly low quality. If you're using decent mics and the Tascam unit, you may want to look into a better two channel interface. The Focusrite 2i2 or the Presonus 22VSL would both be good options.

Chris

Hello, You can use adjust the size of the regions using the trim handles (the arrows on either side of the regions), Tap and hold on an arrow, then slide once the larger arrow appears. Slide the right side of the first region to where you want it to end, and the left side of the second region to whe...

Hello,
That button will flip the phase of the audio that exists on that track, it is not limited to recording.
