Lately, 100% of my recording has been via Auria. I've done two full projects that were Auria-only. Unfortunately, I think the RAM limits on the iPad make it extremely difficult. There is an editing function where you simply drag your finger across a part of the screen. A white area appears w/handles at the top of the screen. Both times - that is what started the problem. This is what I know.

1. It sounds like terrible line noise.
2. It is not subject to 'undo'

I think it is connected to the white area with handles on top. Both times this happened, I had accidentally activated that.

It happened again. Two string tracks wiped out by less than 1 second of white noise.

I was splitting, editing w/gain. And it won't undo.

On this project I've frozen every track. Can I mix them frozen w/o losing the FX settings I made?
Or do I have to un-freeze each one for mixing? I don't see this specifically addressed in manual.

This project has had real CPU issues. I don't think I can unfreeze them all at once.

Thanks everybody. You're right. Eventually it worked. This particular project should be easy. I use an iPad2 64G with an Alesis ioDock. Today - for the first time ever - iPad gave me this message: "This accessory is not supported by iPad." I guess someone at Apple overnight just decided. I can no longer use my iPad w/my ioDock. I had no problems using it before. Boy am I pissed off...

An iPad 2/3 has 512MB or RAM, and an iPad 4 has 1GB of RAM.
