Re: MIDI with Pro

Can you share some screen shots. The fact that you're able to add a midi track indicates you are using the Pro version.

Re: Moving Midi Data

What direction are you trying to move the notes...earlier in time or later? If you're trying to move them earlier, you might be changing the note length, rather than the position, which would make them seem to disappear if moved far enough.

Re: Auria Compatible Sequencers

Not exactly a sequencer in the truest sense, but I use Different Drummer in conjunction with Auria quite a bit and have been very happy with the results. It syncs well and has 8 tracks which can be set for audio, midi, or both. You can constrain the note on each track, so I like using it to drive Ly...

Re: Ziggy Stardust has left the building

Couldn't begin to count the number of times I fell asleep listening to Station to Station as a kid! I love most of his work, but that one will always hold a special place. A great loss!

Re: How to extract specific notes to a new track?

From what I understand, the midi standard never specified the exact note number to pitch, so some vendors use C3 as middle C and others use C4. It shouldn't cause any problems aside from shifting an octave up or down.

Re: Track bleed through

Headphone jack interfaces are notorious for bleed through. A digital interface should get rid of it.

Re: Learning Curve vs. Bugs

I used Auria only a couple of times to master a couple of pieces created in other apps. The app seemed to work great for what limited use I was putting it through. I have been eagerly waiting for Auria Pro (like the rest of you) and I really want to like it, but I am having problems. Some problems ...

Re: Connect multiple interfaces to ipad with a USB hub?

Akai EIE (red version/16 bit) has three USB ports and has worked well for me getting in multiple midi devices. It also has a I/O DIN pair for legacy devices, which I have two connected through that.

Re: Advice wanted

@Fitz - I've used it in a similar manner. There is a channel output for each of the four input combi jacks. They are on the rear of the EIE. The USB host does allow for discrete channel outputs, so you can dedicate an Auria track for each input. I can't offer much on the mic selection though. Good l...

I would have to say the ability to reuse effects along with the quality of effects available is my favorite feature.....until Pro gets here!

Re: New to the forum

Lol...yeah, I think I got to the saturation point by the time I first considered the Auria forum.

I think I may have some posts on the KVR forum, but that's been a while too. Mostly AB these days, but glad to branch out with Auria!

Thanks @martygras!
