I see requests for features that I would probably never need or use, and I am hoping that Auria doesn't try to become the Reaper of iOS by implementing every request that comes across the forum. Maybe that sounds dumb, but I love Auria now because of the ease of use, and I'm hoping it won't become ...
Auria doesn't support synths or virtual instruments - only audio plugins, as it doesn't have any midi recording or playback capability. When we release the midi version, we'll definitely be talking with all the synth developers. Rim I see requests for features that I would probably never need or us...
Hey Aurialarians. I understand the basic concepts of normalization, but have never had the need for normalizing using RMS as the criteria for gain change. How is this used, or how have people used it? I've always used peak. It just makes sense to me. Otherwise it seems like you could easily create "...
It sounds to me like you are describing the "mastering" portion of the recording process, but I still feel that mastering should be left to the experts. Just my opinion though. If you are recording for a commercial release I would strongly recommend that you find a 3rd party mastering facility. Good...
I bought a few of the drum loop packs (Scott Rockenfield) and noticed that they are in 24bit format so I'm hoping they convert when importing to a 16/44.1 project. I imported a few loops to a song with a guitar rhythm on one track and the loops on track 2. The loops played through a few times just f...
Hey, It does work on my iPad 2, and it seems pretty solid at this point. Thanks.
I wish it was easier to import the video. Seems funny how I took some video with my iPad and had to upload it to Dropbox, then import from Dropbox to Auria instead of open-in or some other option.
Cassini is actually a pretty monster synth. Editing goes deep deep. The presets do very little to display its power. Definitely check out the videos of their site for a few programming tips and I think the Sunsine presets are totally worth it. Hey Syrupcore, you are right. Cassini is more powerful ...
BTW, a member of the Loopy HD forum has "hacked" the usb portion of the Alesis IO Dock by adding an internal usb hub and has posted step by step instructions how to implement the hack.
Well the screen real estate is kinda cramped as it is on the iPad so, yeah, it would have too many sub menus and be difficult to swap back and forth between screen so much. There is a simpler DAW that runs well on iPhone and iPod called "Multitrack DAW" by Harmonicdog. It does not have all the aweso...
I agree Matt, but the channel strip also has parametric with selectable Q so really it's both... or maybe neither since it's kind of a hybrid eq. The only locked frequencies are the shelving types.
