Reverb can muddy up a mix very quickly if used heavily. Delay can create strong feelings of space without the mud. It obviously depends on the genre, the song and the instrument, but often I'll just use the reverb to only add subtle ambience and depend on the delay to add the big space.

Great news, after fixing the convolution problem, the project is working again!

I have also seen some weird behaviour from convolution (e.g. weird characters in the preset names when first opened) and I think this may also be related to some of my IR files are missing. Crash seems to relate to projects that use convolution. Projects that don't all seem to load fine.. Just a theory

As always Auria was a pleasure to use on this track. The plugins also made a real difference, specifically Turnado makes the intro guitar sound like some crazy synth.

Stereo delays, stereo chorus and reverb go a long way to a big stereo sound if used right. Pro Q EQ of mid and sides is also helpful. Lastly, mixing techniques such as hard panning don't hurt.

Ok, somebody's got to say it. The obvious missing feature.. Finally! Finally, we'll be able to customize the colors of the buttons. Can't wait!
