Spoke too soon- the Lynda.com on compression, expander, limiter and gate is very good. Combined with Simon Hugh's and a bit of google I think one can figure a lot out.

Ps the tutorials in Auria blog on the channelstrip close up r perfect, but I found them only by google and I can't seem to navigate to any sort of 'table of contents' at least not on my ipad....I've clicked everywhere, used search etc.

I have watched the full Auria tutorial on ask Lynda. It's really great but it doesn't go into any detail after basics. I'm gonna watch those on mastering and mixing , reverb and delay etc but I feel I'll out of sorts trying to make headway with the overall subject of recording AND with the smaller d...

Thankyou. One more dumb example question: if I use ffQ, does that replace the in Auria eq or do people use both or are there any rules....I know this isn't the thread topic- I'll stop there. Thanks.

Just want reassurance that the preset folders are (supposed to be) empty when I use 'import audio' for IR, convo and fabfilter L? The drop down top left of each plug in has nothing there but there seem to be some from a smaller box on the right side....I'm reading manuals and such but still confused...

Sry man i exited out of Auria every 2 downloads and had 2 crashes total but made a bunch a purchases.
I bought everything but the following: turnado, wow, spring verb, dcam x3 , volcano,timeless, ir files and loops and pro-DS
- are there any must haves in the above?
