Rim, is it required to unfreeze a track before deleting it?

Re: Drum loops

Also, several purchased items require that they extract all the files after download has been completed, which can also take a few minutes. I'm running Auria on (2) iPad 2's, so I have trouble remembering which IAP's have been installed on which iPad. Plug-ins, loops, IR's etc. So, I frequently just...

Re: Help!!!!?!?!?!?!! apogee duet

I'll assume you've tried closing all apps and removing them from memory.
Also make sure you have this set right: Settings > Privacy > Microphone = "on" for any audio apps like Auria, Audiobus etc.

Re: Help!!!!?!?!?!?!! apogee duet

In "menu" there is the input matrix. Does it show the Apogee's inputs? This is where you can assign the physical inputs to track destinations.

Re: [ ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION ABOUT IAA ]

I agree with some of the posts saying that due to the current state of IAA use, Audiobus doesn't have much to worry about anyway. I figure that in a few weeks, we'll see which apps applied it properly too.

And where's the comprehensive Apple guide for the public's use of this feature?

Re: Mixdown wrong reverb bug?

There are some weird things that can happen in the convolution window too. Changing the "size, offset and delay" knobs starts getting screwy, creating strange looking waveforms that do not resemble the original waveform.

Re: Multiple USB mics via CCK and USB hub?

You can however use a USB mic and a USB controller into a powered USB hub.
I use both a Blue Yeti, and an Akai EWI USB into a Belkin powered USB hub into a CCK. The Blue Yeti has a headphone jack so it acts like an audio interface. Other USB mics may not react in the same way though.

Re: Auria1.13?

Since we're on the subject of noise blasts. I know Reaper has a setting to mute audio when level goes above a certain dB set by the user. I think it's only on the master outputs. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Yes but I think it should be provided by the OS. Hey syrupcore, your comment...

Re: AURIA & FOCUSRITE NOMINATED FOR SOS AWARD

I voted for a few items, but most categories had equipment I have not had the privilege to use. How can someone say X is better than Y, if they haven't even used A, B or C?
Just a thought.

Re: Focusrite Scarlett iPad Mapping

I must admit that even though I don't currently own a Focusrite unit, it is very nice to have Katherine stop by to aid in our brand specific issues.
Now that's proactive customer support.

Re: Conv reverb and Overloud Thm

I've found that it's easier on the CPU if I only use the classic reverb when I need to hear some reverb while tracking, and then change to a more appropriate IR reverb during mixdown. This helps to keep the CPU usage down on my iPad 2.

Re: Newbie question: gain clipping at low volume

@zippydog: Plug your headphones into the front panel phones jacks. Does it sound the same or better? Is there a direct monitoring mode so you can listen only to the inputs? The 1st 2 inputs on the front have switchable input levels. Have you set those for the right signal level? I don't have one so ...
