Yeah, a fount of knowledge, and a really nice guy too. Anthony, you are a swell egg.

Anthony, I get a lot of my Apple news from TUAW and iLounge. Do you (or anyone else) have any links to other respectable Apple news sources. I love reading the tech stuff, but not the speculators.

Re: IPad 1, Iodock, Auria?

Interesting. You may have to buy one and tell us what your findings are. I can't find anything definitive on KVR etc.

Heck, I'd be happy to be able to stick a thumbdrive in a hub for this to work for 2-way file transfer.

Re: AURIA for the iPHONE???

One of the coolest things about Auria is that it isn't finished. I have lots to look forward to whichever direction the app takes.

The downside is we need more emoticons.

I also keep forgetting that there are interfaces for the iPhone now too making it a very viable recording platform.

Oh, okay. Thanks Rim. That's a relief. I sit corrected.

Still the idea isn't a bad one.

Re: AURIA for the iPHONE???

Well I disagree with Shay 176% and I agree with the OP 243%. So there. Results are in. When can we expect the iPhone version? Kidding, of course. I love the +100 percentages game. They're just 432% fun. In all seriousness, though, why would you want a companion app but not Auria itself on an iPhone...

Sheesh man, everything is not about your ass! Sometimes it's about my ass.

I understand your frustration. Just be a bit more civil and patient. Hell, if I had an extra $25, I'd give it to ya to upgrade so you could get jammin on the bus.

Re: AURIA for the iPHONE???

I agree 101% with Shay. Although, a companion app for tracking would be justified so we can get some remote recording done, bring it home, use the "import from Auria Tracker" and start goin' to town. I would never do any critical editing on a device smaller than the iPad. That's me though....

Bouncing tracks (REALTIME?)

Hey gang, It appears from the manual that bouncing must be done in realtime. Is this the only bounce method currently? The reason I ask is because, in Multitrack DAW you can select several tracks/regions and then drag them to a single stereo track and all of the faders, pans, fx etc. are applied to ...

Re: IPad 1, Iodock, Auria?

It appears to be intended for Mac's and PC's. No mention of iOS device use on any support pages.

Sorry it took me so long to look that up for you.

Re: Auria 1.12 Submitted to Apple

I'm referring to midi. I don't use it that much at all for what I do, and I'm terrified of what it will introduce to my favorite DAW when it lands. Since it's taken this long we can assume it's a little complicated. Complexity usually brings bugs along with it. That being said, Rim has been amazing...

Re: IPad 1, Iodock, Auria?

Whoa, hold on there. First off, welcome to the forums mobileusa. IMO using an iPad 1st gen will work, but you will be limited on anything that uses the cpu heavily. I have an iPad 2 and am constantly having to freeze tracks, i.e. the CPU meter shows too much use when adding only a few insert or bus ...

I think musician's make up a very small demographic in the smart device field. For every one of us, there's a hundred teenage girls texting all day and playing Angry Birds.

I don't think you're OCD. I think you are one of those people we call "organised". A rare breed indeed.

I thought I did choose where last time. I'll check again.
