I had a similar issue. Mid purchase of one of the plugins, the App store said my credit card was declined. (Huh, it was fine on the other two plugins I bought five minutes ago.) Opened Auria and it immediately crashed. Oh my. Restarted the iPad. Auria still crashed. Deleted Auria and reinstalled it....

But none of those are USB. This is a mojo flaw in the iPad hardware. One that apparently can't be fixed.
