Avantone mixcube
I know little about monitors other than a bit of reading in 'mixing secrets' by Mike Senior and internet browsing. I found a site showing that to connect from the ipad headphone jack to the mixcube I'd need to make a jack: http://www.soundonsound.com/forum/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1079566&am...

Re: CMP Piano + IAA + Auria + external keyboard?
So the cmp piano is nicer than i piano? I don't have either and was using the piano from g band. Wasn't as happy with the sample tank clarity. I'll be following this to see if u resolve things. Thx.

Re: 64GB or 128GB?
Can't answer your question but I'm buying 128 tomorrow! I've always been disappointed when I cheaped out every blank time with all devices in the past. I would assume you will have a zillion music apps and maybe music and other things? I have only 16 gigs to spare on my ipad 3 -64 gig and that's aft...

Drum loops running hot
I didn't see anything about this in my reading here. I recorded from drum studio and drums xd into Auria, both of which I like a lot and with recording levels are default, these tracks seemed to be nicely near peak and not into the red. I bought a bunch of drum loops in app and loaded them amongst t...

Re: iPad Mini Retina and Apogee ONE iOS, Apogee Jam
Hi Edson, don't know if your problems are the same as I had with ipad 3 with apogee one but I had done a thread on it that was deleted by mistake. Here's a link to a video I did to document. I'm told the ipad 5 handles everything fine but I haven't tried the mini. I was told that the five has the ho...

Midi controller pad
Sorry, I can't find info on this subject after a few hours of looking. I wanted to buy something like an akai MPD 26 just to control drum studio or the like and want to know if anyone is using it for this purpose ( does it work) or if there is something else I should buy. I'm just doing rock/pop and...

Re: How are you bringing Drums into Auria?
I play drums, and record em… Too late for me...although a full midi drum kit setup would be fun. I messed with drum studio and it works fine but the tempo thing is a bit awkward. I know I can play live or cut and paste from drumstudio but Not sure otherwise how to line up a prerecorded drum track t...

Re: How are you bringing Drums into Auria?
K, I have drumloops hd, dm1 , and drum studio. I thought it would be best to do individualized tracks for each drum part ( kick, snare etc) as mentioned above using drumstudio or dm1 or the like. So then I wondered what midi drum pad to consider to make it more easier/ fun and does anyone have a pad...

Fabfilter Pro L settings
Hi, I'm trying to eliminate or minimize transients from acoustic guitar finger squeaks. I watched the Lynda.com which suggested using a limiter and not increasing gain, and then using a compressor in a 'layering' manner. I tried everything setting wise with pro L (and yes the bypass is off) and when...

Re: Auria In-app sale tomorrow!
I looked at timeless 2, volcano, turnado and wow. I assume I don't need these for rock and ballad pop? Timeless 2 is ridiculously complicated...thx
