Re: Two time settings in one track?

What have people been doing in the meantime to remedy tempo changes in songs they are recording? And making the different song parts with different tempo's fit together well?

Or, maybe this isn't even part of the OP?

I made a sale ;)

I have a friend who uses a MacBook Pro with a DAW that the name escapes me ATM. A few weeks ago, I showed him some of the things I can do on my ipad, and this cool app called Auria. ;) He seemed impressed, but not very interested. Well, I got an email from him today, he said he bought the app, and h...

Pen Tool

So, is this possible in Auria? Or, is it as helpful/useful as I think it would be? I got it form musictech.net. Maybe it's not necessary, but sounds interesting to me. Thoughts? 15: Fix Glitches With the Pen Tool In a sample editor you can zoom down to sample level, showing the very building blocks ...

Re: Punch in

Hello @King! Thank you for the reply. Ok, so the silence part where I am punching in makes sense. I would want there to be no audio at that position. I can't figure out why there isn't any audio prior to the point I want to punch in at. So, I can't figure out where I am on the track, to know when to...

Punch in

I just tried this in Auria, set my markers. Using JamUp and Audiobus, and as soon as I started to record and was ready for the punch in, I couldn't hear any of the track I recorded? So, I wasn't able to tell where to punch in. Then, where I set the first marker, overlapped a bit of the guitar I reco...

Re: Major Auria Announcement

Pretty sure it's spring here in Wisconsin. 20 below today. Winds howling. Robins are chirping. Well, not really on that last part.

Re: Metal/hard rock ...auria still good? Advice?

As @eustressor mentioned, Bias letting you import your cabs/amps to JamUp is really great. I've gotten some of the heaviest sounds from importing Bias Amps, and then adding The famed green distortion pedal, or the Boss MT-metal zone. The amount of Metal I can get from a Bias import into JamUp is cra...

Re: Metal/hard rock ...auria still good? Advice?

Hi, I'm no expert, but mostly do Metal with my recording.

JamUp pro xt is a must for metal. And OverLoud THM IAP is pretty good for metal.

Rock Drum Machine is really good.

I'll let others fill in the rest.

Re: Major Auria Announcement

That's not correct. We haven't announced any upgrade pricing. Rim Maybe $25.99? jkg. I don't care what it is, I just have severe "Kid before Christmas" Syndrome waiting for it. I wish I could erase in my mind that I know Pro is coming soon. Would rather be like, Today Auria Pro hit the ap...

Re: Major Auria Announcement

Auria Pro will be available Spring 2015 and will be priced at $49.99 So....... Technically, it's not really spring here in lovely Wisconsin. But, even when March and April hit, it still may not be spring seeing as how we got snow in late April last year. So maybe we can consider Feb. 1st Spring, an...

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?

So, for a guitarist who likes effects, should I get Jamup? I get the impression that it's good for amp simulation, but how are the effects? I like loads of presets to get you started which you can fiddle with. Also like some of the more off-the-wall sounds with chorus, flange, delays etc. A good us...

Re: JamUp - Standalone vs. In-app version?

I beta tested final touch but I have to say now it's a pretty big letdown and I never use it. Bias is great, but the bias desktop seems to have their full attention. @mrufino, I couldn't agree more. On Positive Grid's Facebook page (which seems to be the avenue they use for communication and announ...

Loop, Repeat function and Fades

Hello, So, I did a bit of recording for my wife the other day. Short bits, of 2 minutes or less. So, I wanted to put the track(s) on loop, or repeat, not sure what it's exactly called. The little Circle arrow appears over the play button. I can't figure out how to turn off? Disable the loop/repeat f...
