Re: All Auria PsP Audio Plugins NOW Only $4.99 US
I know a lot of this is subjective, but what does Pianoverb add that the convolution reverb doesn't? I love micro warmer and old timer - so simple to use. Great for an amateur Does Pianoverb do something similar for reverb?

Re: ASK THE RECORDING EXPERTS
Stanbrubaker... If I've read your post right, there's background noise on your voiceover and now that you've sliced it up, the background noise is noticeably there when you're talking, then audibly goes away, making it sound a bit rubbish. I'm not aware of a function for re-creating background noise...

Replies have helped me too. Does anyone know of a good way to keep your kids from using your iPad too?

Re: MIDI controllers vs Auria Pro
OK, wading in once more with the stoopid question, but Christmas is coming and I've been good, but not THAT good, so was thinking about going two's up with my daughter on getting a midi controller. Would the Akai Professional APC mini link with faders and functions such as start / stop in Auria: htt...

Re: Gain staging workflow
OK, I'm feeling a bit of a thickie- that pre/post fader level thing escaped me. Explains how sometimes it seems like whatever I do the track is hot.
Thanks for the step-by-step, Anthony.

Re: 50% off?
I had the same last night - higher price at one stage, but went through at the right price. Thanks, by the way, Wavemachine Labs - every aspect of my new studio project has gone over-budget, except the 'upgrade to Auria Pro' bit! I guess I now have to see if my iPad 4 will cope and if I can work out...

Re: Do people stay with the effects delivered with Auria Pro
Like you, I don't have a background in DAW recording and, for me, I found the channel strip a little intimidating to use. The plugins are amazing for my money. Really intuitive to use and it's easy to do an A:B comparison to see whether you've made things better or worse! Pro-Q has given me amazing ...

Re: Recording electronic drums
It may not have fitted in for you, Strhessed, and I agree that if the recording process takes away from the performance, it's not right for you. I'm going to give it a go, though, so thanks for the detail, Anthony. I've had decent results tracking drums on GarageBand, but the sounds are limited. Sam...

Re: Let's See Your Auria Project Studio...
Here is the 'before' pic of my studio. Let's just say that the building of a new extension on my house was a 'now or never' moment in the home studio front. My builder is great - we're both enjoying this bit of the build and he's really anal. Just what you need for this sort of thing. Had to put ste...

Re: Audio quantize
I had a nightmare when I started quantising. A recording engineer where we rehearse kept on about me playing to a click track and now I do that all the time - even live - so I am tighter in general and quantising works better. I mainly play drums, but also do some guitar. I find it can work really w...

Best Cheap Multi Track Interface
Hi,
I have a decent mixer and would like to be able to multitrack record. Minimum is two inputs (I would use for L and R). Ideal would be 12. Good compromise would be four (would do stereo pair and a focus of two)
Looking at less than £100. Is there anything out there?
