Does anyone know if this is possible ?

Re: Deleting Subgroups
Deleting Subgroups is not possible, but you can hide them from the Edit window via the 'Show Sub/Master Tracks' option in the Edit menu.

Re: Deleting Subgroups
Thanks for reply Chris,
I have hidden them but on the mixer page they are still present.
Is there a way of hiding them on the mixer page also ?
Regards,
Dave.

Re: Deleting Subgroups
There is not currently a way to hide them from the Mix page, but rest assured, idle subgroups are not taking up any extra resources.

Ok,
Thanks Chris.
Thanks Chris.
Re: Deleting Subgroups - Solved
is this possible in Auria Pro yet, or still on your todo list?
Re: Deleting Subgroups - Solved
I tried to make that happen for Auria Pro, but it proved too difficult. It's hard coded in the project format, so it would take some work, but not impossible.

Ok thanks, just thought I would ask. (I was trying to think of why they were hard coded like that initially
perhaps because it emulates real life mixer where they cannot be hidden.)

Re: Deleting Subgroups - Solved
Yes, in a way - I look at them the same way as the master bus. That can't be deleted either, so I picked eight, as that seemed like a good number back when I first wrote Auria.

Re: Deleting Subgroups - Solved
If you ever implement hiding subs, perhaps an option to have the master 3/4 and 5/6 visible as separate faders?
Re: Deleting Subgroups - Solved
As I've mentioned in the past, I'd love to see those (often unused) subgroups disappear until you need them as well. It creates unnecessary visual clutter and often puts the (much more useful) master fader just out of reach and eyesight.
Rim, I understand this is not easy, but it will be most welcome if and when possible.

Hi,
Bringing this back from the dead. I have 8 recording channels now and that means that the master is way over to the right even in landscape. If they cannot be deleted it would be nice to freely move the master next to the channels at least, or maybe (probably much more difficult) the option to scale the display so all channels are visible.
Thanks.

+1 for me please.
I have desktop sequencers at home, and wanted to simplify my life by recording less instruments on a portable format.
At the moment I have 6 tracks and 8 busses. Would be a nice option to hide the unused busses.

Yes, I really need to use my screen space more efficiently. I rarely use subs. But as they sit there between my tracks and the master, I'm having to do far more swiping than is efficient. Rim, can you implement an option to at least hide them. This would give Auria the true flexibility of a design your own mixer!
