I set up an empty project, 44.1 Khz INT - 24 tracks.
I then recorded nine individual tracks via Audiobus, into Auria.
I then exported the Project folder to my C drive via itunes, expecting to find nine beautiful 44.1 Khz wav files.
Imagine my surprise, when I opened the Project folder, at finding that for inexplicable reasons, Auria had recorded my tracks at 1058 kbps - not 41 as I would have expected.
Why did this happen? And - what do I need to do to get my WAV files, my outputs - to record at 44.1 Khz (the rate I chose for the project - but did not get).
I read through the entire manual, I searched through the forums, I searched online - there is no mention of this.
Please explain!
Thank you
dave
Low resolution output ??
Re: Low resolution output ??
WAV files aren't normally measured in kbps. Kbps is a bitrate measurement used for compressed files, like MP3. Auria always records WAV files at the sample rate of your project (44.1Khz, 48Khz, or 96Khz). Where did you see this kbps info for your WAV files?

Re: Low resolution output ??
That 1058 kbps number is the streaming rate for your files, and is calculated like this:
Sample Rate X Bit Depth / 1000 = kbps
And in this case, 44100 times 24 divided by 1000 = 1058 kbps, so what you're seeing is normal.
Sample Rate X Bit Depth / 1000 = kbps
