Ending

Post by Mcansler » Thu Aug 22, 2013 6:08 pm

Playing backing tracks I created through Auria so I can adjust the levels of each track while playing live (guitar, bass, drums, cello), but the song does not stop when all the tracks are through. Is there a way to set the ending so the cursor stops after all the tracks have ended. Sorry for such an elementary question, but I am new at this. Using this set-up in church to create the band members I don't have and using Auria as the mixer after I record each backing track.

Most DAWs are designed to work this way - it keeps playing or recording forever until you stop it. Just wondering, is there a reason why you need it to stop after the song is over?

To save battery power in case I forget to turn it off. I will play at the beginning of each service and then again at the end. I guess I cam set my iPad for auto shut- off after 10 minutes.

Gotcha. Actually, Auria doesn't use more battery when it's playing if there are no more regions to play.
