Help with Auria, Amplitube and Audiobus

Post by G-master G » Tue Sep 03, 2013 8:20 pm

G’day everyone.
I am hoping that someone can help me get a couple of apps working together via Audiobus.
To set the scene:
I have a project in Auria that currently has 18 tracks. I want to add another to record a bass-line.
I want to use the Ampeg model in my Amplitube app.
I can’t for the life of me figure out how you do this.
Would someone be so kind as to spell it out assuming that I am a complete dummy when it comes to these things. So for example when I read people referring to a “Bus” I get confused because to me a bus is something I catch to work every day.
It would be great if you could just say “go here and press this button then go here and select this option.”
Thanks in advance for any help.

No problem, it's not too difficult:

1. Open Audiobus
2. In the input slot, choose Amplitube
3. In the output slot, choose Auria
4. Open Auria.
5. If this is the first time you're recording amplitube in this project, Auria will create a new track for you and set it's input to audiobus, so if that's the case, you're done. If not, continue:
6. Add a new track in Auria: press menu, then add track.
7. Open the input matrix (Menu, Input matrix)
8. Press the Audiobus button
9. Find your new track, and assign it to input 1.
10. You're done. Now audiobus's output will go to your new track. Press the record enable button above your track and record.
