Dropbox

Post by Midlife » Wed Sep 04, 2013 3:10 pm

I have a querie and was wondering if anyone can help.

At this time for writing beats I am using beatmaker with the intention of then sending individual drum tracks into auria via Dropbox.

I exported the beat as individual wav as opposed to master, then sent them to Dropbox.

When I then import them from Dropbox into individual tracks in auria I would say most are blank. They are there in Dropbox, the file sizes are all the same and you can listen to all of them.

Am I doing something wrong, am I missing something.

I read that you had to add tracks before importing but that didn't work either.

BM2 writes non-standard WAV files, which the current version of Auria has a problem with. A fix has been written for the next release of Auria (v1.12). Checkout this recent thread:

In the mean time, you might be able to open them in Audioshare first and then open them in auria. Not sure if audioshare corrects for the BM2 bug.
