For vocals? Interesting.

I must admit that the built in mic in the iPhone5 is quite good. When placed properly you can get some great acoustic guitar tones. Proximity is the key, as the farther you get from the source, the signal quickly loses bottom end.

I have the iPhone 4 wonder how that compares to the 5s mic any1 know

I recorded an acoustic Guitar using a Sm58 straight into a Apogee Jam with surprisingly great results also :shock:
