Convolution reverb low CPU question.

Post by Manimpretty » Sat Dec 07, 2013 7:53 am

So there's a very noticeable difference in sound with low CPU on and off. My question is, if I apply reverb, then mixdown my project, does it mixdown what I'm hearing (low CPU) or default to normal?
I've noticed my mix downs sometimes sound different and was wondering if this would cause it.

Mixdown uses the exact settings you choose in all the plugins, so if you choose Low CPU mode, it will use that mode when mixing down. Mixdown should never sound different. We performed many tests with this, and always found a phase-cancelled perfect copy when comparing a mixdown to the original. If you ever find this not to be true, please send me the project and I'll have a look at what's going on.

Thanks,
Rim

Ok, perfect. Just wanted to check. Thanks.
As far as it sounding different it's subtle. Probably my imagination. :o
