Lost aif files

Post by Markie4eyezz » Wed Mar 05, 2014 9:34 am

I'm back again
Love auria so much
Please can you help how do you save aif files
I hit the menu button and go to export to aif
I wait for it to do its magic and then when I check the folder it's empty nothing in there
It even goes thru the motion copying track 1 etc
Even when I save aif file in auria I have a empty folder...same as in Dropbox

I can do it in beatmaker 2 with no probs so I know what I'm doing but in auria the folder is empty

My work flow
Make beat in beatmaker 2
Export to drop box aif files from beatmaker 2

Then
Open and mix tracks in auria...

Problem lies here
Completed beat is now mixed I want to save aif to Dropbox or to email over to my colleague to add vocals in his daw
Empty folder no aif

How come
Why

Hope someone can help as I have lost a lot of work thinking I had aif files only to find a blank folder

@Marky4eyezz: Have you done this in Auria before but it's just not working on one particular project? If it's the first time you've tried, I'd suggest doing a test run using a small, one short track project.

For info, I've just tested it with a small project and it worked fine (both saving locally and to Dropbox).

How much free disk to you have?

For info, I'm using an iPad3/64! iOSv6.1.3, Auria v1.140, NOT jailbroken.

Thanks for your response
I'm on a ipad 4 ios7 32 gig not jailbroken
The folders are empty i got over a gig space
And plenty space on my Dropbox.

I have found my problem the files are there
You have to go to load audio instead of load project to see the files
Oooooopsss.

I thought if you load the project you could see the content of the folder
But it can only be seen when you go to import audio.

Thanks again I'm gonna try see if my colleague can open the aif files of a one entire project at his end if I send by Dropbox link or email.

Glad you got to the bottom of it and hope it works well with your collaborator.
