Listing of IAA instruments/FX

Post by papertiger » Fri Oct 31, 2014 10:46 am

With apologies if the issue has been raised before, but I'd like to request that, if possible, the listing of IAA instruments/FX in Auria be improved. It would be great if things could be grouped by developer, but even alphabetic listing would be an improvement.

Given how haphazard some of the names are, I'm guessing that part of the issue may be in how developers expose the name of their app to Auria? In any case, any improvement to the status quo would be appreciated.

Thanks, Rim!

Good idea. Right now IAAs are listed in the order that iOS gives them to us. Alphabetical would work better.

@Rim: Can you try and differentiate between 'Instrument' and 'Generator' IAA types? The way AudioShare handles it is good, for example.

Sure, I was thinking of making them different shades of the blue.

Is iOS music/audio handling heading towards not needing to distinguish between Instruments and Generators in the first place? That would be the optimal solution.
