MIDI Learn?

Post by depuratumba » Wed Sep 16, 2015 9:34 pm

Is there any chance Auria will get some sort of MIDI learn (or even fixed CC Midi parameters) so I could map, for example, faders, AUX sends, etc. to a MIDI controller? I have a pretty specific setup where I hoped I could map a few parameters to a Korg NanoKontrol... thanks!

I think we're stuck with using the Mackie protocols for channel strip style controls for now.
Now, that being said, most plugs in auria have midi learn.

that's too bad, as I actually would REALLY need to map just one parameter (volume for track 1)
btw, let's just say I get a NanoKontrol v2 (I have V1 wich is not compatible with Mackie Protocol) would it be possible at all to use only a few parameters from that mapping, and use other controls for different apps (ie. I'm using a fader to control one of the knobs on Turnado)

I think it's probably not possible to mix both...

You could put an effect in a slot and midi learn the volume control of that effect, for lack of a better workaround right now.
