How to make a rectangle to select an area

Post by MicciHay » Sat Jan 23, 2016 6:22 am

When I touch the Piano Roll Editor screen of a MIDI track, the MIDI notes are usually selected. On the other hand, the touch can make a rectangular shape. (When this rectangule is made, if I press the delete button, all the notes under the shape are vanished.)
I understand this rectangle is to select a certain area, of course. But, I can make the shape only occasionally.
How can I make it for sure?

What you describe is called highlighting, and it's done by double-tapping and dragging. You double-tap, then while your finger is still on the screen, drag to a new location.

In piano roll mode, highlighting is only available when you're not in draw mode (the pencil icon). This will change in v2.03.
