Lyra's Treasures

Post by wmwm » Fri Feb 05, 2016 3:41 am

These are hand made SFZ Instruments that I created for this community. The samples used in these are either my creation or have been distributed for reuse by others.
These are five instruments that are unique to each other. I hope you can find some use out of these in your musical creations. Feel Free to share but not resell these instruments or samples.

Pluck D2 - Pluck attack with sustain
Black and Blue - 808 style box with Piano ( sorry not mapped per Lyra GM Drum map, white keys c3-c5)
Obie the Owl - Oberheim sampled combined with an owl's tuned howl
Chip Off the Old Palm - Palmsounds.com offered some samples he created from a olegtron this is sample "zoom0013" cropped, doubled, detuned, hso'd and retuned to get a chiptune type sound.
Replikant - have you ever retired a human by mistake?

If you have any to share, id like to hear them.

That's awesome man.

Do you know any videos or places online I can find a way to make my own SFZ? I haven't had much luck.
Also how feasible would it be to build a drum kit out of my own high quality samples? Most user stuff I've seen is 1 sound sampled across the board, where I'd like to make something like edrum or edrum2, where they are comprised of a number of different samples.
