Klevgrand apps???

Post by jrech » Mon Jun 01, 2020 2:18 pm

Has any used the klevgrand apps? The ones that I was looking at is reamp, spark, and reverb. Reamp and spark is for an acoustic guitar. Will either of them sound good on an acoustic? The reverb is for everything.

I bought Stark some time ago. To be honest I don’t think it’s in the same league as Positive Grids offerings. And Spark is a hog on system resource IMO

Stark is not generally considered among the better amp simulators.

What are you hoping to accomplish with using these on an acoustic guitar?

IMO, the best all-purpose Reverb is the one from ToneBoosters. It covers a wide range of applications.

I just got the tb reverb. Thank you for the help.

I am looking to add some warmth to the acoustic and not make it sound like it is being plugged in.

Does the positive grid amps work with auria?

Positive Grid apps do work in Auria but they do not support AuV. I’ve had pretty good success using a small TC pedal for acoustic called ‘Body Rez’ (link below). It’s cheap and sound great Guitar/BodyRez/Audio Input/ Daw.
AltiSpace Verbs sounds great for AG ambient effect.

Thanks Gary. I will check out that pedal. Sound like a cool idea. I would look at altiverb but it is not in the U S. Any other ideas for reverb?

I just ordered the body Rez pedal. It looked really cool and the sound was awesome. Thank you for that info. Do you need a power supply or can it run off of 9 volt battery?

Doesn’t take a battery un-fortunately. About reverb plugs, maybe Eventide or Fab Filter Pro R ?
