GeoShred as MIDI controller for Auria Pro midi track

Post by Glynton » Fri May 21, 2021 8:21 am

Hi,

I can’t figure out how to control Auria midi tracks with the GeoShred app?

I add a midi track, set channel to all, choose a midi instrument (SWAM Violins) and then set GeoShred as the midi input.

In GeoShred I set the preset to Midi out mode.

Set the track to armed, but nothing.

Did you enable the track for MIDI input with the button that has a note glyph? That (not arming) is what makes a track midi enabled.

Yes, the note glyph is on

Having tried a few things and downloaded MidiFlow app... I think GeoShred is not sending midi at all. If I load Prism into MidiFlow I can monitor the midi notes being sent. But nothing emerges from GeoShred.

However, it seems I’m unable to drive Auria with Prism either!

Sorted... Auria keeps disabling “Background Audio Mode” in settings. I enable it for a session and if I close and reopen it, the setting is disabled again. I forgot to turn it back on!
