tried:

1. turning off ipad, waiting 20 secs. didn't work
2. deleting all projects from itunes. didn't work

had to delete app and re-down load. seems to work now :)

I wonder if a recovery mode could be built in to Auria where if you hold down a certain key during startup it will boot in a default mode (ie no project and no plugins) enabling some bug reports to be sent.

Add another victim to the dead app list!  :(

I force-closed all apps and re-booted before updating Auria. Sadly, now I too find myself stuck in the loop of seeing only a brief appearance of the crash-report warning before Auria falls over. Bad news and hugely disappointing after waiting a whole month for this update! I don't know what to do now, other than hope for an expedited bug-fix.

I'm wondering, as most iPad things are standarized, how all these differences can emerge.

yes it one of the advantages of the closed ios eco system, if it works for one it works for all. at least thats the way apple have designed it.

OK, so it appears this is not related to projects. Maybe it's related to the iOS version. If you're having issues, can you please let me know your iOS version? Also, those who haven't had issues, please let me know as well.

Thanks,

This is the only thing that worked for me: IPad 2, wifi only, 64 GB, iOS 6.0.

The updated Auria kept crashing on start up without a chance to intervene even after closing all apps and rebooting.

No problem with iPad 3 32Gb iOS 5.1.1

I have seen many issues reported online recently with apps requiring uninstall/reinstall because in-place upgrades were crashing. Of course this has to be done with care to back up all data. I have not experienced any such issues myself.

what about plugins? Maybe it's not Auria that causes the crashes, but certain plugins? That could explain the difference between devices that should behave the same.

I have the Pro-Q, nothing else.

Plugins shouldn't matter. It's crashing at the very start, before any plugins are initialized.
